The Wemian is the community magazine for Wem and the surrounding villages — sharing stories, celebrating local groups, and shining a light on the people and happenings that make our town what it is.

Each edition brings together articles, club updates, history pieces, event notices, photos, business spotlights and community news. With a print run of 1,750 copies and a strong local distribution network across cafés, shops, venues and community spaces, The Wemian reaches people who live, work and spend time locally.

We publish four editions a year (March, June, September and December), and much of our content is written by the community itself — from the Cricket Club and the Gardening Society to charities, schools, groups and passionate individuals.
